Our team operates nationwide carrying out statutory Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing in accordance with COSHH regulations, helping businesses ensure their extraction systems are protecting employees from hazardous dusts, fumes and vapours. We work across a diverse range of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, education, pharmaceuticals, food production, construction and heavy industry. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, we deliver LEV testing and compliance services throughout the UK. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and technically minded individual to support our increasing workload. Environmental Compliance Limited (ECL) provides a range of environmental consultancy and testing services, assisting our clients with achieving and maintaining environmental regulatory compliance and personal safety within the workplace. Established in 2001, we are now the largest emissions monitoring test house in Wales and in the top 3 companies in the UK. We have experienced and qualified occupational hygienists who have in combination over a hundred years of experience in delivering solutions for exposure to hazardous substances, workplace noise exposure, local exhaust ventilation, vibration assessments and other Occupational Hygiene services to a broad range of clients throughout the UK, Europe, The Middle East and Africa. Due to continued expansion in workload, we are now looking to recruit a capable and experienced LEV Testing Technician. This role will involve being based working from home, ideally being based in the Southwest region of England, initially travelling to a client’s site to undertake LEV testing and reporting for a minimum period of 6 months. After 6 months it is anticipated the role will require travelling to clients’ sites across the UK, to undertake not just testing but potentially service and maintenance of LEV systems.

Due to the continued expansion of the company A&H Duct Cleaning Services T/A LEVTExT Services Ltd are seeking to appoint an experienced LEV TExT Examination Engineer with the opportunity to progress within our LEV Division, T/A LEVTExT Services Ltd. The role of the engineer is to carry out on site TExT Examinations of all types of LEV Systems including extensive TExT Examinations and general maintenance of Fume and Class 2 Safety Cabinets in line with COSHH Regulation 9 (2002 Amended). KI Discuss and DOP Filter Testing will also be required with additional training and accreditation being provided to the successful candidate. Candidates applying for the vacancy will be required to be certificated to a minimum BOHS P601 qualification and must demonstrate a good understanding COSHH Regulations and HSG258 Controlling Airborne Contaminants at Work. You must demonstrate good engineering skills and be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of LEV Systems, Filtration, Extraction Fans and LEV System Components. You must also be able to work unsupervised, manage your own time and have the ability to win new clients and use your own initiative in carrying day to day activities. You must also have excellent verbal and written skills and be computer literate with clear and concise English for full accurate TExT Reporting. You must be willing to undertake further training when required at the company’s discretion and cost. You must be prepared to work away from home with occasional overnight stays and weekend work if required. You must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full UK Driving Licence. This vacancy offers an excellent opportunity to those with a passion for LEV TExT Testing and an interest in Occupational Health and may be ideal for any applicant wishing to relocate to the Southwest of England.
