LEV Test Engineer
Due to the continued expansion of our LEV (Local Exhaust Engineer)division, Saxty Engineering have a vacancy for an Qualified LEV test engineer. The role of an LEV engineer is field based and will require you to travel to various sites, so it is imperative you have a valid driving licence and have a flexible approach towards traveling to a variety of locations not only throughout the Southwest but also further afield. This is a multi-task role that will involve visiting customer sites to carry out LEV testing across a wide range of systems as well as fire damper installations, testing and fire stopping. Experience within the industry is essential. LEV experience essential P601 essential Driving license essential Good understanding of current Health and Safety responsibilities Knowledge of Occupational hygiene, hazards and controls Ability to write up and Manage LEV Reports Experience in compiling reports using MS Word (preferred but not essential) Good interpersonal skills Good IT and communication skills, both written and verbal Physically fit and able to climb ladders Genuine passion for Engineering and commitment to learning Able to work independently and as part of a team Common sense and a ‘can do’ attitude’ This role offers a varied and interesting career.
