Role description and responsibilities: Filtermist supports its customers by providing them and their employees with clean air solutions – protecting people by ensuring cleaner, safer, more productive working environments. We need someone to join our Installation Team. The role is Nationwide. The role will encompass the following responsibilities: Key Areas of Responsibility: To lead a team of Installation and Technical Survey Engineers, ensuring that our designs meet industry standards whilst delivering exceptional support to our customers both internal and external. This position provides a dynamic, hands-on role involving nationwide travel. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about advancing their career within the LEV sector. • Attending customer sites to survey and design LEV Systems, verifying safe access and installation methods. • Liaising with area sales managers to provide design data & parts lists for the LEV System Installations. • Leading a team of Installation and Technical Survey Engineers. • Providing technical support to the Installation/Design team and area sales managers. • Coordinate tasks, solve technical issues, oversee the quality of work, and ensure the team adheres to Industry standards and safety regulations. • Inspire & motivate the team. • Team auditing/training and ongoing support. Experience: • Ability to work independently, and under instruction from management. • Ability to problem solve with innovative solutions. • Proactive nature, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. • Possess a methodological approach to problem solving and ability to learn new analytical methods within a time-critical project environment. • Able to clearly communicate technical data and findings to customers/internal Filtermist Area sales managers • Excellent Organisational and presentation skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Flexible on working location, willingness to work both from home/office and on site. • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to budget in a time-critical environment. Skills & Qualifications: • Have a good level of education (to GCSE standard in Maths and English grade C or above). Above this you need to be experienced with Microsoft Office Programs. • At least 3 years in a similar LEV Design role with comparable goals and responsibilities. • Strong technical knowledge of LEV systems specification and design. • Experience in liaising with clients at all levels. • Proven track record working in a LEV project / design role. • Able to work in a digital environment using MS Teams, MS Office, etc. • Will ideally come from a strong mechanical / engineering background. • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Design and/or industry experience with relevant BOHS qualifications; BOHS P601, BOHS P602. • Full UK Driving Licence.
