A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established UK business. Impact Air Systems Ltd is a UK leading provider of pneumatic conveying systems that collect and transport dry waste material, including dust, fume, odours, and mist. We operate in numerous industries and trade all over the world.
We also provide other specific technical services solutions such as service and maintenance of those systems, LEV testing and spare parts.

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager for Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems and associated products and services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and selling LEV Solutions and will carry a minimum accreditation of BOHS P602 and be expected to attend sites throughout the UK with the view of designing control solutions for dust, fume and mist extraction systems in line with COSHH regulations & HSG258 (guide to Local Exhaust Ventilation).

Responsibilities of the role would include:
• To generate sales of circa £800,000 per annum.
• Creating and identifying sales opportunities to meet targets.
• Conducting site surveys at customer facilities, review and advise customers on what’s. required.
• Create concept system designs, prepare and presenting sales proposals to the customer.
• Completing relevant documentation to administrate the sales and project process.
• Working closely with project engineers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure successful and timely project completion.
• Monitoring costs to maximise gross profit on each contract.

Our head office is based centrally in Leicester, but we undertake LEV work across the whole of the UK and Ireland.

Preferred Qualifications


Preferred Skills/Experience

You must be able to:
• Understand technical reports / drawing relating to LEV and determine a solution to comply with various relevant regulations.
• Have an engineering background or qualification in an engineering discipline (HNC/HND).
• Be able to write clear and concise technical English.
• Have at least 2 years’ experience in a technical sales or capital equipment sales role.
• Work as part of a team but it is also essential to display your own initiative to complete tasks.
• Have effective communication skills to allow you to identify customer’s problems and liaise with customers, suppliers and engineers.
• Have excellent organisational skills and computer literacy (including experience of using MS Office).
• Possess effective problem solving and prioritisation skills and be able to work in an environment which requires the prompt completion of tasks.
• Have a full driving license and be prepared to travel to site on a daily basis.
• You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Other LEV related qualifications such as BOHS P601/P604/M200 are all desirable but not essential.
