About the role
Our Occupational Hygiene team is expanding, and we are looking for an LEV Consultant to join our team. You will be someone who can undertake inspections, testing, sampling, risk assessments and other activities associated within the fields of Occupational Hygiene with a focus on LEV, whilst maintaining the best interests of the Customer and compliance with statutory requirements.
The role requires travel to sites across the Southern part of the UK so good timekeeping and organisation skills is essential.

Day to day activities
Undertaking workplace surveys and evaluating situations in the workplace
Assessing risks to health arising from many different factors such as chemicals, noise, or poor local exhaust ventilation
Accurately measuring and sampling levels of exposure, often through the precise use of specialised equipment
Accurately recording facts and details of procedures in the workplace
Finding cost effective solutions to risks to health in workplaces of all types
Liaising with a wide range of people in the process of evaluating workplaces
Considering all options of control such as local exhaust ventilation, containment, and personal protective equipment

Good communication and report writing skills.
Ability to organise and prioritise workload, particularly regarding report writing.
Flexible and reliable.
Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously.
Team player.
Ability to present information clearly, concisely, and professionally
Desire to work towards being a fully certified Occupational Hygienist.
Desirable to be proficient in two or more other Occupational Hygiene services.
P601 is essential and other LEV accreditations are desirable.

P601 qualification
Previous experience of testing LEV systems.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced LEV professional to further develop their skills within Occupational Hygiene.
