Job Description

AirBench Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of dust and fume extraction equipment.

Our 4 complementary product families comprise downdraught benches, cross-draught systems and booths, coolant mist filtration, and air cleaning systems.

We manufacture equipment that is used in almost every major manufacturing company in the UK – every F1 team – every branch of the armed forces – and thousands of small businesses.

We focus on defined product ranges and work with a wide range of customers from the smallest SMEs to the largest multi-nationals. We manufacture our own products in our two factories in Essex. We are a small team and look for new team members who will fit in while making a difference to our long term success.

We are currently seeking a knowledgable LEV Engineer to work on customer sites across the UK but mainly in the Midlands and North. This role will be varied and will include installation, servicing, commissioning, maintenance, and LEV testing of all types of AirBench systems. Projects can range from simple commissioning visits through to full electrical and mechanical installation of mist filters to CNC machine tools.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with a range of extraction systems; and will understand the COSHH regulations and HSG258. You will be P601 qualified; and be able to demonstrate electrical competence, ideally through a suitable qualification.

We welcome applications from candidates located either in the Midlands / Northwest, or more locally to us in the East of England. In either case, you should be willing to travel regularly including some overnight trips.

In return, we offer a competitive salary based on your experience; a varied and interesting role; a close team with strong support; and a company vehicle.
