Due to ongoing expansion within Walker safety cabinets family, we are now looking for an experienced LEV Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough examinations and tests of LEV systems in accordance with the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) HSG258 guidelines.
Prepare detailed reports on system performance, including measurements, observations, and recommendations for improvement.
Identify and rectify faults or deficiencies in LEV systems, ensuring they meet the required standards.
Collaborate with the wider team to plan and prioritize tasks efficiently, while also being capable of working independently.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing technical guidance and advice on LEV systems.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including test results, remedial works, and maintenance activities.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and offer informed recommendations.

Requirements:

Must be P601 certified.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an LEV Engineer.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for generating reports and maintaining documentation.
In-depth knowledge of HSG258 guidelines and their practical application.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system faults.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
