The business is expanding its national coverage by setting up a South-West Office (Taunton) and is excited to offer the opportunity to join the business as an LEV Technician (Graduate / Entry Level).
Position: LEV Technician (Graduate / Entry Level)
Location: South-West England (Taunton)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent (40 Hours) Hybrid – Office, Home and Travel (Client Sites)
Salary: £25,000+

The Role:
As an LEV Technician, you will assist experienced technicians and work under the guidance of a Senior Associate Consultant while receiving structured training, gaining hands-on experience, and progressing through industry-recognized certifications. The job role covers a range of tasks that may include the following:
• Assist in LEV Thorough Examination and Testing (TExT) tasks.
• Work alongside technicians on-site, learning practical skills and procedures.
• Develop technical knowledge through mentorship and shadowing.
• Attend training courses to gain industry qualifications, including P601 and beyond.
• Support occupational hygiene tasks, such as air monitoring and noise assessments.
• Travel to client sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
Essential Requirements:
Certification and Qualifications:
• This is an entry level offering; no prior qualifications are required.
• A full UK driving licence.
Soft Skills
• A graduate or individual with a strong interest in engineering, health and safety, or environmental sciences.
• A proactive and curious attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills that align with the business’ core values.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients to maintain positive work relationships.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Desirable Skills / Experience
• Familiarity with COSHH and LEV Testing Requirements as per HSG258.
• Any prior learning or qualifications supported by the BOHS.
